Sydney is my cousin! I was SO excited and happy she asked me to be their photographer. I could go on and on about how perfect and beautiful her wedding day was! Chad and Sydney were truly meant for each other. I have never seen a man look at a woman like Chad looks at Sydney. Their love is so beautiful. You will see this throughout these pictures. Sydney and Chad decided to wait to see each other during the ceremony. I am so glad they did. Chad got pretty choked up and honestly you will see why. Sydney was the most gorgeous bride I have ever seen. Her dress was one of a kind because her mom sewed on buttons and sequins to her dress. It was absolutely stunning. Their ceremony was also one of a kind. They decided to add in a part of worship. Everyone sang some worship songs. This was perfect because Sydney is big into music and has a background of being a music teacher! Their reception was in a tent on a horse farm in Zionsville. It was so beautiful as well! We got some amazing pictures out there as the sun was setting. Enough writing…please enjoy these pictures! They speak more words than I could ever say!
Sydney and Chad I wish you many many years of happiness. I know you two will hold onto what God has promised in your marriage together.
Love,
Emily
I have known P.J. since grade school way back in the day. I was so excited when she asked me to be their photographer. Â I am so happy I got to share Cale and P.J.’s wedding day with them! It was a perfect day…hot (around 85+ degrees!)…but perfect! Their day was laid back and a lot of fun! I loved the colors they picked! P.J. even found Cale some socks to match the colors. Her father gave an amazing speech and there was not a dry eye in the house (including myself and my second shooter!). I hope you enjoy the pictures of their beautiful day!
Congrats you two! I wish you many MANY years of happiness together!

Sara and I go way back to elementary school years and I was so excited when she asked me to be their photographer. Sara and Blake have a handsome son together (Anson) and he makes an appearance A LOT in this blog. I had a blast with their wedding party and truly felt I was part of the group! Sara made a gorgeous bride and wore one gorgeous wedding dress. I am so happy for the two of them and their little family and am so happy they asked me to be a part of their perfect day! Here are MANY photos of their day. I found it extremely hard to narrow down which ones to pick, because there are so many amazing ones. ENJOY! 🙂
Congrats to the two of you! I wish you many years of happiness together!

Derick and Talia were friends of mine from Ball State University. Derick and my husband roomed together their super senior year (year 5), so I got to know them that year. When Talia asked if I would take pictures of their wedding was beyond excited!
Derick and Talia got engaged the first night in their new house on Fish Lake, Michigan. She said it was right after they became homeowners! She showed up at the house and he was waiting there to propose. Here is a picture of how he did it!
Yes, I took this off of Facebook! It needed to be on here, because it was one amazing proposal!
Talia’s parents also live on Fish Lake and that was the site for their wedding. It was supposed to storm the entire day of the wedding. It ended up not raining or storming and it didn’t even sprinkle! They couldn’t have asked for a better day! Here are some pictures of their beautiful wedding. Enjoy!
Congrats you two! I am so happy I was able to share your day with you! I wish you all the happiness and many more memorable years together!

You may have heard about the “first look” at weddings. It is when the bride and groom see each other for the first time BEFORE the wedding. It was a tradition to keep from seeing the bride on the wedding, but that tradition is decreasing as the years go by.
The “first look” is a great way to spend some moments together before the wedding. It also helps to calm nerves. AND as a photographer, it also helps get a lot of those family portraits out of the way, so there is less rushing around after the ceremony. Anything to help your wedding day go smoother, is a “must do” in my book!
Talia and Derick had a beautiful first look and I wanted to share it with everyone reading this!
