I have known Maggie since kindergarten! I was SO excited when she asked me to be her photographer! I had a blast catching up with her. I can’t even begin to describe how perfect, romantic, fun, fairytale like their wedding day was! It was downtown Indianapolis at the Omni Severin Hotel. Maggie was in the Presidential Suite and that is where her and her bridesmaids got ready. Michael and Maggie decided to see each other before the wedding (which is always great for pictures)! I would have to say my favorite part of their day was their cocktail hour. They blocked of a part of Georgia Street. It was great! Maggie and Michael are a perfect pair even down to him adding to his vows about her love of nail polish! I loved that! I wanted to share some pictures of their AMAZING day! Enjoy!
Best wishes you two! What a beautiful day to look back on. I can’t wait to see you two grow old together! 🙂
Aaron and Courtney had a beautiful wedding day! After a mixup with the reception hall, they were able to still have their wedding at a BEAUTIFUL spot. It was a perfect day and with perfect weather. I will always have a big connection with this couple because they got married on my birthday….September 21st! My day started off not how I planned (thanks to being in my first trimester of pregnancy) . Aaron and Courtney’s families were very kind and caring after the whole mess. They helped and watched out for me all day. I know that this couple has some amazing people backing them and their marriage up. I think that is so important! Aaron and Courtney will be welcoming their first daughter in January. I know they will be amazing parents. I wish them both all the best in their lives together. I am so glad I was able to share their special day with them and am so thankful to call them friends now! CONGRATS to you both! 🙂
I have known Brittany and Letteer since high school. We were all in show choir together and they have been together since then! Brittany made sure to show off many photos of them throughout the years. Everyone knew they were meant to be and we all knew this day would come. They are the sweetest couple and truly love each other. The love between them showed the entire day! Brittany was such a calm and beautiful bride. Letteer made my second shooter and I laugh the entire day. He had so many ideas for photos and even set up his own photo booth (which was amazing)! They got married at Michigantown Christian Church, which holds a huge place in my heart because my husband and I also got married there. Their reception was in a cute barn outside of Burlington, Indiana. Enjoy the pictures of their perfect day!
More will be continued on the next blog! The link below is the rest of the blog!

Sara and I go way back to elementary school years and I was so excited when she asked me to be their photographer. Sara and Blake have a handsome son together (Anson) and he makes an appearance A LOT in this blog. I had a blast with their wedding party and truly felt I was part of the group! Sara made a gorgeous bride and wore one gorgeous wedding dress. I am so happy for the two of them and their little family and am so happy they asked me to be a part of their perfect day! Here are MANY photos of their day. I found it extremely hard to narrow down which ones to pick, because there are so many amazing ones. ENJOY! 🙂
Congrats to the two of you! I wish you many years of happiness together!

Derick and Talia were friends of mine from Ball State University. Derick and my husband roomed together their super senior year (year 5), so I got to know them that year. When Talia asked if I would take pictures of their wedding was beyond excited!
Derick and Talia got engaged the first night in their new house on Fish Lake, Michigan. She said it was right after they became homeowners! She showed up at the house and he was waiting there to propose. Here is a picture of how he did it!
Yes, I took this off of Facebook! It needed to be on here, because it was one amazing proposal!
Talia’s parents also live on Fish Lake and that was the site for their wedding. It was supposed to storm the entire day of the wedding. It ended up not raining or storming and it didn’t even sprinkle! They couldn’t have asked for a better day! Here are some pictures of their beautiful wedding. Enjoy!
Congrats you two! I am so happy I was able to share your day with you! I wish you all the happiness and many more memorable years together!

You may have heard about the “first look” at weddings. It is when the bride and groom see each other for the first time BEFORE the wedding. It was a tradition to keep from seeing the bride on the wedding, but that tradition is decreasing as the years go by.
The “first look” is a great way to spend some moments together before the wedding. It also helps to calm nerves. AND as a photographer, it also helps get a lot of those family portraits out of the way, so there is less rushing around after the ceremony. Anything to help your wedding day go smoother, is a “must do” in my book!
Talia and Derick had a beautiful first look and I wanted to share it with everyone reading this!
