Thomas and Shelby had one gorgeous location for their wedding! Their ceremony and reception took place at Exploration Acres in Lafayette, Indiana. Shelby and Thomas planned on not seeing each other before their ceremony but changed their minds after hearing storms were on their way. I am so glad they did! We had them see each other in front of the barn and it was perfect! Thomas and Shelby have known each other for years but it wasn’t until Thomas liked one of her pictures on Facebook that they realized they were meant to be 😉 :). I love sharing love stories like that! As if their wedding day wasn’t enough to celebrate…they just had their first child, John, who makes his appearance in these pictures throughout the day. He looked so cute in his little outfit! Shelby also recently accepted a teaching job at the Community Schools of Frankfort and Thomas was recently sworn in as Sheriff’s deputy. These two have so many amazing things happening for them! Their wedding was just the icing on the cake of an amazing 2015 so far! And what a great day it was…filled with so many family members and friends who love them. I went a little crazy with pictures on this blog! I know they have been waiting patiently to see these so I can’t wait to share with you! Enjoy!!

That last picture is one of my favorites from the day! It was Shelby’s father’s idea and my second shooter (Elizabeth Simmons of Elizabeth Simmons Photography) and I knew we needed to do it. We loved how it turned out. I wish these two and their little man all the best and many many years of happiness together!
